Braided packings are used in all industries and are meant to create a seal between shafts or axes and the gland box. The basic material, impregnation and type of braid are specially selected to ensure the best seal and lowest possible friction. The lubricants in the packing are extremely important because they protect from "dry operation" during the start phase and working process.
